To do this we open the start menu and enter cmd or command line and then run the displayed application. In the opened black screen window enter the ipconfig command and confirm with the Enter key. A list of network information will appear on the screen including the IP address labeled IPv Address. macOS users can find the IP address by using System Preferences. Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen and Phone Number List select System Preferences then go to the Network section. We select the active network we are using for example WiFi or Ethernet and find the IP address displayed in the window on the right. with Android finding the IP address requires entering the system settings. Find the WiFi section and once selected tap on the name of your connected WiFi network. A list of network information will appear including the IP address you are looking for. For iPhone or iPad users the process is similar to that on Android devices. We enter the settings and go to the WiFi section.
